When the snow from the mountain starts melting, the water level of the lake starts increasing. This is the reason the park gets completely submerged underwater. When you go underwater you can find trees, benches, bridges, and flowers. They are submerged in 40 feet of water. This incredible phenomenon lasts for only 3 to 4 weeks in the spring.

The Green Lake has its name because of the emerald green water. But the tourists are the reason for its color loss. People throw waste and urinate in this water which resulted in the change of the clear and clean water to opaque.
