Parodies Of 9 English Hits Of 2017 To Burst Your Tummies

There might be many songs which you may like. In fact, there are too many of my liking. Yet, I chose nine English hits of 2017 that forced everyone to dance on their beat. Some songs compelled us to discuss the reasons why they’ve been written in the first place. Why parodies, instead of a list of hits? ‘Coz parodies are fun! You get to watch different people react in different ways. Also, you find artists craving to display their skills to us. Besides, you laugh and the point of a parody is relaxation.

So, here are a few for you. Enjoy!

1. Luis Fonsi – Despacito

This video is not much of a parody, I must say. But, Ashish surely does make us laugh beyond boundaries. His lyrics, man! They are so damn funny that I might die laughing.

2. Taylor Swift – Look what you made me do

Tagged along with this song were loads of controversies, centered around Taylor Swift, Kanye West, and Katy Perry. Despite all the commotion, this song took its place on the Hotlist of 2017 English hits. And this parody by Bart Baker will clearly show you how most people took the controversy surrounding Taylor, Kanye, and Katy.

3. Ed Sheeran – Shape of you

Congos to Ed Sheeran, first of all, on grabbing the Grammy award for this beautiful song. And, though I felt sorry for the song after listening to this parody by Angry picnic, I cracked up with laughter. What’s so special about this parody is the way the singer performing the parody used real YouTube comments to write a perfect and meaningful (Ahem) song.

4. Katy Perry – Chained to the Rhythm

There’s always a hidden meaning in Katy’s songs and this song surely is one of her bests, right? There’s this YouTuber, goes by the name, Maci Sumcox, who gave us a parody “Hooked to the TV”. See for yourself, how true it is! We binge-watch all the time.

5. Clean Bandit – Rockabye

Here’s a parody by one of my favorite YouTubers, Mikey Bustos.

His expressions are Aweeee!

6. Harry Styles – Sign of the Times

An excellent song this one, ain’t it? If you’re into watching and listening to parodies, you must’ve surely heard of this channel The Key of Awesome. Have you? Well, now you have. In this parody, they certainly proved that Red Bull does not give you wings. They bring in a duplicate Harry too. Mainly, this parody is like a dialogue. Just that, the dialogue is not spoken but sung.

7. Katy Perry – Swish Swish

I wasn’t actually fond of this song when I heard it. And, the video too! That wasn’t what I expected of Katy. But, listening to the song over and over, I must say, though it might not be one of the best works of Katy, it’s still pretty decent. It relates to the feud between Taylor and Katy, in a way and a parody of thoughts was made of this petty feud too! By, PopToons TV.

The parody starts from 1:30 minutes.

8. Jason Derulo ft. Nicki Minaj – Swalla

There might be a thousand parodies out there on YouTube on this song but nothing ever beats a parody by Donald Trump! This channel, Steven Sayer, uses Donald Trump to make his small parodies.

9. Charlie Puth – Attention

Skip classes and you’ll get detention, says Lincoln Hoppe, through his “Attention” parody. So, guys, do not bunk your classes, lol.
