When I walked in, I was surprised because I was not expecting a fast food restaurant... but there we were and there it was on the menu. We came here, it was fairly busy for brunch time. I have no clue how this doesn't have better ratings because it really is the best fast food we got. I mean I've lived in Cerritos basically my entire life, and I've never eaten here before?! This Daly City Jollibee regular approves. We got a family meal of 6 pieces, mashed potatoes with gravy, fries, and the pancit noodles. Here's my tally from superb to perb:Fried chicken - Best in the citySpicy fried chicken - The best only gets better with spicy. You have to try it.Peach mango pie: I'm not a fan of pies but this is a staple. Why not on a burgerAs I was waiting in line, I saw everyone leaving with pineapple juice so ordered that too and it was quite refreshing. I was in the mood for some fried chicken and found this. This is my favorite fried chicken in the city. It was also pretty juicy! the workers actually spoke the native language which was a plus. It is pretty much obvious how this delightful dessert got its name. Why??? This dessert is very popular during summer. And yes as you can see from all these yelp reviews that Jollibee is the Filipino version of McDonalds. People of all ages love to dine here. Her halo-halo has really just the basic of ingredients. My daughter says she should've gotten the spaghetti instead of the chicken.Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the halo halo.SO YUMMY! I'm looking for juicy, meaty chicken, with a crispy, flavorful skin. Had a really strong craving for after watching a recap of Anthony Bourdain's episode where he ate at a Jollibee. (Anything that my mom cooks of course! Average fried chicken and average spaghetti combo. It makes sense - in some provinces there are no fridges nor ground beef so they ate the plastic textured "dawgs"..They loved ketchup,thus the birth of pasta a la weiner. It was definitely made for sharing. Well, if you put a gun to my head and force me to pick something, that hamburger gravy rice thing (resembles a Hawaiian Loco Moco) isn't too bad, and their mango peach pie...ehh, actually, I'll rather get the bullet. I had their combo of spaghetti and Chicken Joy (fried chicken) to get a little feel for their specialties, and it was pretty good. My brother said the Jollibee's in Fremont has fried mango pies, kind of like the McDonald's apple pie but in mango. Peach mango pie was ok. You can't go wrong with gravy. ;) The halo halo had a lovely combination of all the things you hope to find on/in/under your shaved ice ... beans of all shapes and sizes, coconut jelly, (jackfruit?) I usually eat very clean on my diet, but this was a worthy exception. People don't like pineapple on pizza. While I was born and raised in Southern California, I spent all my childhood summers in the Philippines. Well let me just start off by saying that my filipino ex boyfriends would never want to eat here for some reasonI got the big yum burger which turned to be to AMAZING! So, to get something not dessert like I tried their small chicken wings combo which was 3 small wings dipped in sweet hot sauce, rice, and a few lumpia (egg rolls Filipino style and IMO better than eggrolls). I'm a fan! I've been wanting to go to the Bee for a long time now. Super satisfying, creamy, not too sweet, and all the flavors meld really well together...People like the peach mango pie but I find that it tastes like stale oil most of the time. They take their sweet time. Just be warned – before joining the queue – some signature Jollibee items are still absent on the opening menu. Aside from the usual crushed ice and milk, sweet potato, plantain bananas, sago pearls, pinipig and shredded coconut meat is the usual components. I lived just 3 blocks away from this place for years before I realize what it was. Jollibee is definitely my all time favorite fast food restaurant but I can't go as often as I would like to because I live in CT and the closest one is in NYC so its a two hour drive to get there but to me it's worth it but it would also be great if they opened up a Jollibee in Connecticut at some point. I always get the chickenjoy, spaghetti, and burgersteak to bring home with me in Connecticut. I would say it is a little slow, they appear to be understaffed. The restaurant could really work on its level of cleanliness too. It was okay, though I actually liked the chicken wings. :-pThe facility itself is spotlessly clean. The best menu item and the most unique one is the Halo-Halo. I wish there was one closer to where I live! You can only order on the phone and past around 6/7 forget about them picking up lol.I did make an order around 12pm once and they were responsive that time.Now on to their food - their fried chicken (spicy is much more flavorful, not THAT spicy, and I don't like spicy foods much). The ingredients are kept in glass jars and placed on top of a small wooden or plastic table. The word “haluhalo” or Halo-Halo can translate to something that’s been mixed together like this halo-halo dessert. Want to chime in. I do not like that Jollibee spaghetti since I know that it's an unholy mix of banana ketchup, processed Edam cheese, liver spread, pork hot dogs and limp noodles that make every pasta maker in Italy throw up in his/her mouth a little. Everybody there was nice as well. Fried chicken is super bomb! Other than churchs chicken they have the best fried chicken here. I have a love hate relationship with this place. There are certain things that are seemingly constant in life - death, taxes and the inability to find a green vegetable option in a Filipino restaurant. Their burger was similar to any other fast food place, but why would you go to a Filipino restaurant for chicken and burgers!? If you haven't had Filipino spaghetti, just know it's a sweet version of the traditional spaghetti, with sliced hot dogs mixed in and shredded cheddar on top. I was introduced to Jollibee from my Filipino boyfriend and the food is amazing! The fried chicken was very tender & tasty with a very nice crispyness & depth. Toronto’s first Jollibee is now open and fans of the Filipino fast-food chain have flocked en masse to the restaurant at Kennedy Commons to get their fried chicken fix. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close from the Jollibee in the Philippines. This is a fast food joint so expect low prices and high calorie content. Unfortunately I was eating with a Chinese friend at the time and I was sharing. This fast food place is really good. Not everything they sell is listed on the menu though. It also came with 3 mango pies. I'm back and Jollibee to see. These employees are so slow. They are known for their  Filipino fried chicken and spaghetti. Very fast at getting my order, and polite. Service was friendly, typically of most fast food joint. Probably not somewhere that I will be in a hurry to go back to any time soon. Juicy aloha burger too. Any positives? The Halo-Halo dessert was an odd mix of different flavors that I grew to enjoy.In conclusion i'd personally prefer Jolibee over KFC any day. Thankfully, I placed my order for pick up just after I had lunch so my eyes wouldn't order food for 10 people when I'm only sharing… It is a nice treat at the end. This is surprisingly great. I was trying as much as I can to see what was good and what was not good. People are just waiting out by the sidewalk instead of forming a line (Jollibee had already placed signs 6 feet apart). They ran a few limited time items on the menu that made me throw icy glares at my wife whenever she surprised me with it. The Aloha burger is a teriyaki burger that's just juicy and sweet from the pineapple, but salty from the teriyaki sauce. They mostly hired Filipinos that got that genuine "Filipino hospitality" (you really can't train people to do that, it comes natural). You're missing out. If you want amazing and flavorful food definitely go to Jollibee you won't be disappointed! But irritating I didn't see it on the menu.. report. Jolly Spaghetti Family Pack (Serves 3-5) Jolly Spaghetti Party Pack (Serves 8-10) Palabok Fiesta. The Filipino style spaghetti is made with a sweet banana ketchup tomato sauce that's oddly addicting. The service is fast, friendly and efficient.As others have stated, Jollibee is a place for Filipinos to go to for a nostalgic taste of home, with popular comfort foods that can appeal to a wide variety of tastes. First of all, I must be truthful in being a little biased towards this restaurant. The gravy is very delicious and the vinegar is a fav too! It is known for its Chickenjoy, Yum Burger and Jolly Spaghetti. The gravy that comes with it is amazing as well. I personally prefer the jelly over the beans that were on the bottom so maybe I'd ask for more jelly instead. Plus: The Halo-Halo Sundae Twirl is back! lots of filipinos, felt like I was in Manila4. It's sweeter than that, but not overly sweet. Mango peach pie - This is better than the McDonald's apple pie as a kid. Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted. Came on a Sunday and there was a line. Another highlight was the peach mango pie which was perfectly warm and crispy (the pastry dough is deep fried) and 100% tops McDonald's apple pie. Any Filipino missing the taste of fast food back home should definitely give it a try and I also recommend it for any non Filipinos out there who want to try the Philippines' most popular fast food chain. Needless to say, I am not thrilled about most Pinoy cooking.That being said, thanks to some social media shenanigans via her west coast friends, the missus became irrationally exuberant about the opening of Jollibee in Manhattan - it's next to the Arbys near the bus terminal, and the area is frequented by the homeless coming out of the halfway house nearby. Crisps skin, juicy meat, highly recommend!The spaghetti is crack to me!! But I won't come here often except to have hte halo halo..The counter guy was pretty good, though. She was adamant that we join in the racuous celebration of the first Jollibee in New York City, that is, until I reminded her that one has been located in Woodside for years, and a place whose...products were hoisted upon me by a suspiciously exeuberant SigOth.When it came to fast food, I call a spade...a spade. If you like the Popeyes sandwich, this is very comparable with a decently sized piece of crispy chicken. I remember a hired maid at my neighbors in her best English say, "Yuck, dat is da mose dicusting ting I eber saw and ate". The place is bright and clean, with lots of sitting area. Their fried chicken was similar to what you would find at a Popeye's or KFC. You can't find their peach mango pie anywhere else. I always come back here for their peach mango pie (I can definitely eat a dozen of that a day). That's the exact feeling you'll have when you eat at Jollibee. There was so much of it, and not worth my caloric hit. It's better than a mango peach pie can be. :), I like going to a Filipino fast food just like this because customers service is always great.
