The Now and Then of the cast of our favourite series, Game of Thrones

THRILLER. COMEDY. ADVENTURE. DRAMA. ROMANCE. CRIME. ACTION. FICTION. HORROR. FANTASY. YOU NAME IT AND GAME OF THRONES HAS IT ALL!

Okay let us not hyperventilate so much, but in a few days Season 7’s first episode will be released and we just can’t keep calm. And the CAST of our favourite series has changed a lot. It’s because of the makeup or their age, we don’t care but we can do have a look at their before and after pictures.

Nine noble families fight for control over the mythical lands of Westeros, while a forgotten race returns after being dormant for a thousand of years.

The series which holds the first position in the category of Most Popular TV Series according to IMDb has won many hearts and has a major fan following. The fans are crazy no matter who lives or who dies because we believe in Valar Morghulis. But the cast has also transformed themselves in a wild manner and we can’t stop drooling over them.

  • Shekh Ma Shieraki Anni, Khal Drogo!

Jason Momoa in Baywatch and then here as our Dothraki Khal. Our only wish is to hear him again and say, ‘Yer Jalan Atthirari Anni’ that is Moon of My Life in Dothraki language.

  • Kit Harington

It seems as if Kit Harington was born to play Jon Snow. He told in an Interview in 2013, saying, “I was called Kit from day one, really. I only found out my name was Christopher when I was 11.” Oh, you really know nothing, Jon Snow.

  • Aidan Gillen

‘Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder, and the climb is all there is.’ Our littlefinger now and then makes us go ‘Woaaah.’

  • Carice Van Houten

There’s only one hell, Princess. The one we live in now.

The red woman, who was loved and hated at the same time, in Miss Minoes and in Game of Thrones.

  • Emilia Clarke

Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, First of her name, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Protector of the Realm, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains and the Queen of Mereen. Who hates her? Well, no one except her enemies in the west and the Sons of Harpy.

  • Gwendoline Christie

The strongest woman, Brienne of Tarth. A highborn lady but chose to be a knight.

  • Lena Headey

Many people hate her but well, I love her. Funny? But even you know about her love and loyalty to the people she cares about. She can cross any limit she wants only to protect them. Her expressions and the way she manipulates people have made me fall for her. (Ps- I am straight, lol)

“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.”

Lena Headey in Brothers Grimm and in Game of Thrones.

  • Nikolaj Coster

Okay, I agree that I love Lannisters but Jamie, oh boy, he is the man of my dreams. After going through everything, he is still a brave warrior. Back in 2009 and now in Game of Thrones, he has melted as many hearts as he can.

  • Peter Dinklage

Yep, here comes another Lannister, the god of tits and wine. He drinks wine and he knows things.

But hey, have a look at the change he has adapted for his role as Tyrion Lannister.

  • Richard Brake

Oh, the white walkers. Ever wondered how they are made? Click on this link and go watch it!

Here, Richard in Doom in 2005 and then in Game of Thrones as one of the terrifying white walkers.

  • Rose Leslie

Rose didn’t have a major role but she was loved by so many people because she saved our stupid Jon and gave us the favourite quotation of all times, ‘you know nothing, Jon Snow.’ The worst part about the attack at the Castle Black was Ygritte’s death.

Rose Leslie in Now is Good vs Rose Leslie in Game of Thrones.

  • Ross Mullan

THE NIGHT KING.

  • Sean Bean

Who didn’t cry at Ned’s death shouldn’t be allowed to live among us. After all, what harm had that man caused to anyone *sobs*

  • Sophie Turner

Sansa, the stupid girl who thought she loved Joffrey. Seriously Sansa? Joffrey? But then the change in her attitude and her uprising anger to take Winterfell back left us in awe.

Sophie in The Thirteenth Tale in 2013 and then in Game of Thrones.

We pray for each one of you as ‘The night is dark and full of terrors but the fire burns them all away.’
